COMPREHENSIVE VISION ASSESSMENTS

Our comprehensive vision assessments incorporate much more than how well you can read the chart.

We are passionate about helping you have clear vision and healthy eyes, now and into the future. As an independent optometry practice, we have the ability to provide our patients with individualised care tailored to your eye health and vision needs, rather than using a ‘one size fits all’ approach to your examination.

Our highly experienced Optometrists provide far more than just a sight test in your comprehensive assessments. So, what can you expect when you come in for an eye examination with us?

COMPREHENSIVE VISION ASSESSMENTS

Our approach is holistic. We are not just treating your eyes, we're getting to know you, your general health, past eye health, vision needs and lifestyle. All of this information helps us to provide eye care and vision aids best suited for you.

We check the clarity of your sight at multiple distances to assess your need for vision correction for all aspects of your life.

In some cases our eyes may have the ability to see quite clearly, but they are not working together well.  This can cause blurriness, double vision and eye strain or fatigue. We assess your eye coordination to ensure we can offer you a complete vision solution.

We use the latest in technological advancements within the optical industry to check your general eye health, and to diagnose, treat or manage eye diseases.

We discuss your work and hobbies to gauge your need for UV and glare protective lenses, or safety standard protective eyewear.

As an independent optometry practice we have access to the latest in spectacle lenses and contact lenses.  After gaining an insight into your lifestyle and vision needs our Optometrists will recommend the best eyewear solution for you.

All our Optometrists are therapeutically endorsed, meaning where required we can write prescriptions for medications to treat eye conditions, or refer you to an Ophthalmologist for more specialised treatment.

If you decide to go ahead with new glasses after your comprehensive eye examination, our qualified Optical Dispensers will help you find the perfect frame to suit your personality, your lifestyle and your lens requirements.
